Kennels	Make a booking
	All the kennels are fully walled in order to prevent any fighting with the neighbours. The dogs are able to see each other across a pathway but cannot come into contact with each other . They all have asbestos roofing which is a good insulator in hot or cold weather and is also less noisy that steel roofing during stormy weather. All kennels have a floated concrete floor which is a lot softer on the feet than regular rough concrete. Each kennel is washed daily with an animal friendly disinfectant. The triple kennels are 3M X 2,5M and can comfortably house 2 giant (great Dane) or 3 large dogs (German Shepard dogs). The double kennels are 2m x 2.5m and house 2 large dogs or up to 3 small dogs (Spaniel or Jack Russell) The single kennels are 1m x 2.5m house 2 small (Dachshund or Maltese dogs or a medium size (bulldog). All kennels have “misters” to cool the kennels during the hot summer days. For the cold winter nights, infra red heating lamps are available.
		Exercise
		There are four exercise runs which are 10m x 10m. They are grass with a shaded area. The dogs take it in turns to come out and play. They come out in their families in which they came in. Occasionally the smaller,  well socialized dogs will share a run, but only if the owner approves. Each animal will spend at least one hour a day (weather permitting) in the run. When we are less busy they will spend longer.
	Food
	Villa Siesta stocks the entire Pedigree range and Vets Choice range. This includes small breed puppy, large breed puppy, premium or adult food, light for the weight watchers and the golden years or senior for the geriatrics. They get fed twice a day (more if required e.g. young puppies under 6 months) and the evening meal consists of the brand of your dogs choice covered in chicken mince. Very few can resist this! If your pet is on a special diet of any kind we ask that you bring it along and we will ensure that it is fed to them. The same goes for medication, bring it along with the instructions and it will be given free of charge.
